Fathaghn guards the tree at the center of her maze.
Fathaghn is a dryad who resides at the center of The Maze of Fathaghn. She is a powerful member of the Green Fey, although she rarely ever travels outside of the maze, electing instead to send delegates on her behalf.
Rise of the New God[]
During the events of Rise of the New God, was poisoned by the fomorians from Mag Tureah when they placed a magical device deep beneath the Maze of Fathaghn in the maze's water supply. The poison caused her, and other creatures linked to the maze, to sprout thorns and behave violently. After Pronefest discovered the fomorian device and cleaned up the poison, she was placed under house arrest by Pindobarran and the Winter treants, who claimed her maze for themselves.
She remains a hostage of Pindobarran, frozen in a block of ice, even after Ellonwy Many-Branches assumed control of the maze.
